Driving awareness, conversion and consideration for Barbour’s latest collection at House of Fraser.

When Barbour dropped their SS23 Summer Shop collection, House of Fraser needed an influencer marketing campaign that would drive brand awareness and product exploration – and traffic to the House of Fraser website. So MG Empower worked with three influencers to create and share engaging content inspired by Barbour’s core philosophy, motivating the brand’s target audience to shop the range.

Challenge.

Elevate brand awareness and drive traffic to Barbour’s summer collection at HoF.

Our challenge was to motivate UK consumers to shop the exclusive Barbour range available at House of Fraser through content that visually inspires the audience to venture outdoors, living the #BarbourWayOfLife.

Amplify and optimise creative influencer content with paid media to drive conversion.

We asked three influencers – multi-tiered to create full-funnel awareness – to tell the story of a fun summer’s day out in the UK with family or friends, celebrating nature and the summer solstice while wearing Barbour’s SS23 collection. Varied content (TikTok, Reels, static & blog posts) captured authentic moments with Barbour, while calls-to-action were optimised to encourage purchase consideration across specific audiences in the UK.

Results.

A combination of high-quality, narrative-led content and paid strategy drove high engagement.

Each of the influencers demonstrated an impressive response-to-brief, aligning their personal values with Barbour’s to give lifestyle recommendations that their audiences largely followed. Instagram Stories proved particularly efficient for driving paid traffic, aided by our test-and-learn approach which allowed the algorithm to optimise performance in line with the brands’ objectives.
