Driving sales and  consideration for Rose Inc via an immersive live-shopping experience.

To launch the Microencapsulated Collection, Rose Inc asked us for strategy and production for a live shopping experience that would educate, inspire and convert customers via influencer-led social storytelling. So we assembled a team of influencers, put our livestream specialists to work and designed a paid media strategy to increase traffic to the brand’s website.

Challenge.

Build, execute and amplify an interactive live shopping experience to educate, inspire and convert audiences.

As this was the client’s first livestream activation, the Rose Inc team needed to be guided through the process by the MG Influencer, MG Studio and MG Media teams – on all dimensions of the campaign from strategy and concept to amplification, production and post-event data capture. Working with real-time content creation also meant we needed to source an elite team of creators with the skills and experience to tell (and sell) the story behind Rose Inc’s Microencapsulated collection.

Strategy.

We procured a diverse team of influencers to feature in the livestream and build hype in the lead-up, amplified by an audience-driven paid media strategy.

Our key goal was to find people with authority in the clean beauty space, who could match the brand’s vibe with confidence and who were comfortable with being live on camera. A team of models, beauty influencers and skincare experts all featured in the livestream, promoted the event on their own platforms and produced UGC content that became a key part of our paid media strategy.

And then our MG Studio team led production and activation in New York.

We got our livestream specialists, videographers and producers to work directly with the influencers and Rose Inc team on the day of the event. And, using our proprietary technology, we built a backend system into the Rose Inc website that could host the livestream as well as support data capture and a live chat function, which was closely managed by our team.

Results.

Livestream sales accounted for 90.8% of Rose Inc’s eCommerce sales on the day, resulting in a +24% above sales benchmark.

We successfully engaged Rose Inc’s community – in real-time AND post-activation.

Our sentiment analysts highlighted audience excitement over exclusive offers and genuine curiosity about the products’ benefits. All aided by real-time engagement via the livestream, the live chat function and the practical ‘storytime’-style content produced by our influencers (and amplified by MG Media) to promote the event itself. Post-event, interest continued to grow leading to an increased social presence for the Rose Inc brand.
